Rocco "braces" for his future...

 


Meet Rocco, a 15 month old Border Collie who was suffering from Joint Laxity when we met him. His back legs were unable to support Rocco properly and left untreated, would have led to severe arthritis and a lifetime of pain.     Luckily for Rocco (a Border Collie rescue), his foster parents decided to go ahead with having him fitted for leg braces. Created by Ms. Olynich, who specializes in animal prosethetics, Rocco came to the clinic where moulds of his legs were cast. Ms. Olynich then took these casts and developed braces specifically made to fit Rocco.
